Ready to take on a challenge to help save Aussie hearts?
Conquer your next fitness goal and raise funds for Aussie hearts
Ride 100 km in a weekend, climb a mountain (or two!) or take on an ocean swim – turn your next physical challenge into a fundraiser in support of Aussie hearts.
You can Do it for Heart alone or in a group – take on a solo challenge or join forces with your friends.
How it works

Register your challenge and set up your personal fundraising page. If you don’t feel like taking on a challenge on your own, you can register as a team.
Ask for donations
Email your contacts, post on social media, and ask your friends, family and colleagues to donate and spread the word about what you’re doing.
Conquer your goal!
Make sure you keep your supporters updated on your progress. Once you achieve your goal, don’t forget to send a thank-you email to everyone who contributed – and be sure to tell them how much you raised!

Need some inspiration?
Here are the Do it for Heart team’s top 4 challenge ideas.
Trek a mountain
Aim for the summit of one of Australia’s most beautiful peaks, from Mt Warning to Kosciusko or the stunning Cradle Mountain. Go solo or with friends - the view from the top can be enhanced by good company!
Do 50 squats a day for a week or 30 squats a day for 30 days
The actual number doesn’t matter – what’s important is the challenge you set for yourself.
Cycle 100 km in a weekend
Explore the world on two wheels in the company of family or friends. Discover new places, push your fitness to the next level and challenge yourself to see how far you can go.
Conquer 10,000 steps a day for a month
Longer-term fitness challenges are more likely to become a habit, which means a Do it for Heart challenge can lead to a lifetime of better heart health.
No matter what sort of challenge you choose, your efforts will help to end the heartache caused by heart disease.

Lucas ran a marathon
Lucas Chesterton was devastated when his dad was diagnosed with heart failure. But rather than giving in to despair, Lucas decided to take action: he became a Do it for Heart fundraiser, signing up to run the Astana Marathon in Kazakhstan and raising almost $5,000 for Aussie hearts.
“It was physically and mentally the toughest thing I have ever done but knowing there was a bigger purpose as to why I was doing it made it easy.”
Lucas Chesterton, Challenge fundraiser
