In Loving memory of George McCombe.

On the 13th of May 2022 I received a phone call that my beloved dad was unresponsive.

I raced to be with my family and we received the news that dad had passed away suddenly in his sleep suffering a massive heart attack.

My parents had just returned from a holiday to Scotland to visit family. I spent time the night after their return talking to my parents about the holiday and I laughed at their stories. I left to pick up my daughter from work telling my parents “bye , see you tomorrow love you”. The next day at 8:00am I received the call that broke my heart.

This event has left behind his devastated wife, heartbroken children, distraught grandchildren, sister , nieces and nephews. Dad loved his family and we all loved him. This has been a terrible time for our family and the struggle to understand why this happened and how we move on without him is a daily struggle.

I would give anything to speak with him again and I know our close knit family is at a loss without him. 

This fundraiser will run right up until June with several events included to raise as much funds as possible for the heart foundation.

Dinner for dad at the Lancefield pub Sunday the 7th of May time and menu to be confirmed 

Dinner for dad at the United sporting club Sunbury - details to be confirmed 

Night fundraiser at Romsey Early Learning- date to be announced 

We will also have several raffles going including movie tickets, vouchers ect 

Please only donate what you can. We want to help the heart foundation and we want to make sure this terrible event doesn’t take anymore loved family members away.
