Heart disease is the global leading cause of death. Last year, I lost someone who was like my grandfather, due to heart problems. I am dedicating this run to him. Until the age of 89, he continued to take his daily walk, and always reiterated how walking and running are good for your health!
Training the last twelve weeks has been pretty hard to manage, but almost there now. Thank you to my friends who have been giving me so much encouragement, and tolerating my Strava screenshots.
I will do my best, even if I have to crawl to the finish line! :)
