The sinking Canterbury swim club

Donate $5 - we dare you!

A bunch of local dad bod ‘extraordinaires’ are setting out on one of their most dangerous journeys yet.

Ramsey street has survived bus parties, barking dogs, dodgy utes and of course, screaming kids. However, the greatest challenge faced by these brave men is possible the greatest fete or all.

That’s right, you guessed it. These sloth like creatures are attempting to swim 20km. The team of (not quite sure who will turn up yet) plenty embarked on their training journey many moons ago.

What started as an idea should have stayed that way as training for the swim has been non existent.

These brave challenges will embark on the deep depths of Vic Park pools and battle the lurking beasts below as well as fighting off the demons in their head.

Their courage is contagious. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Nobel Peace prize winner comes from the group.

But in all seriousness. We are a bunch of local dads swimming in a warm pool to raise a few $for a great cause.

We are not asking for much. Just $5 and a laugh!

Small goal. Big reward.

Thank you.
