I’ve taken on a challenge to Do it for Heart!
Heart disease has affected many of my friends and family, which is why it is an important issue to me. Last year a close family friend, Sue Ling, suddenly passed away from an undiagnosed aortic dissection. Sue was fit, healthy, and loved to run. Her condition was extremely rare, especially in women, and her death was a shock to all.
On July 3rd I will be running 21 kilometres in remembrance of Sue and to raise money for heart disease research.
Heart disease remains Australia’s biggest killer, claiming 48 lives every day. Your donation will help the Heart Foundation to transform Australia’s heart health by:
- Funding life-changing heart research
- Supporting health professionals working to prevent, diagnose and treat heart disease
- Providing heart-healthy programs and resources for everyday Australians.
