I’m celebrating my birthday by asking for Do it for Heart donations in lieu of receiving gifts. 🎁 🙏🏼

As my birthday is coming up, I find myself reflecting on what truly matters in life. Some of you know that my journey has been deeply marked by the shadows of heart-related tragedies. I lost my father to cardiac arrest at a very young age of 15. It was a pivotal moment that forced me to stand on my own and navigate through the complexities of life with very little to none. 

In October 2023, this buried grief and pain was compounded unimaginably by my brother’s sudden passing from the same cause. 

It was a profound wake-up call and definitely took me in a whirlwind cycle of anxiety, depression and health issues. 

These events have left an indelible mark on my heart, life and soul. 

*as we are not one to always take photos back then (which I now regret), the photo you can see is the first ever but also the last family photo we’ve ever taken*

In light of these experiences, I’m passionate about saving Australian Hearts and I am reaching out to ask for something different this year - your help to create change.

Your support could help fund vital research, advocate for better health policies, and provide support for those affected by heart diseases. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and possibly save lives!
